Harvest Ridge

Harvest Ridge is the comfort food of mobile games. You inherit a run-down farm, plant crops, befriend the locals and slowly turn the place around. There's no timer breathing down your neck, which is exactly the point.

The sim systems are gentle. Watering, harvesting and upgrading all loop nicely, and the day-night cycle gives a pleasant rhythm. We found the crafting a little thin compared to bigger farming games, but it never felt tedious.

It's a game you dip into rather than binge. Ten minutes a day keeps your farm ticking along, and that low-stakes feeling is surprisingly addictive.
